What You're Buying

License Types

Standard • Extended • Broadcast • Exclusive

Standard (Non-Exclusive): Perfect for web projects with small reach — YouTube videos, social media posts, podcasts, and personal websites. Ideal for creators and small businesses.

Extended: Designed for online advertising campaigns, paid apps, offline use, and medium-scale projects. When your reach grows beyond a million viewers.

Broadcast: For television, radio, cinema, or large-scale media campaigns. Professional productions that need broadcast-grade licensing.

Full Licensing Policy

1. Subject of License

Purchasing a license grants you non-exclusive or exclusive rights to use the musical work(s) ("Track"). All copyrights, including master and publishing rights, remain with the Rightsholder unless you purchase an Exclusive license with negotiated rights transfer.

2. License Types in Detail

2.1 Standard (Non-Exclusive)
Allowed uses: Internet videos, podcasts, websites, internal presentations, organic social media posts, educational content, personal projects.
Limitations: Total project reach up to 1,000,000 views/impressions; no TV, radio, or cinema; no music-only distribution to streaming platforms.
Territory/Term: Worldwide, perpetual, for the declared project and its legitimate distribution channels.

2.2 Extended License
Allowed uses: Online advertising campaigns, paid mobile apps and games, offline corporate events, commercial installations, e-learning platforms, client work.
Limitations: Reach up to 20,000,000 views/impressions; no TV, radio, or cinema broadcast; no releasing the track to DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) under your own artist name.
Territory/Term: Worldwide, perpetual, project-specific with reasonable derivative uses.

2.3 Broadcast License
Allowed uses: Television commercials and programming, radio advertising and shows, cinema/theatrical releases, out-of-home (OOH) and digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising, large-scale brand campaigns.
Required information: Specific channels, markets/territories, campaign duration, estimated total reach.
Territory/Term: As defined in the signed license agreement; typically time-limited or impression-limited for advertising.

2.4 Exclusive / Buyout License
Grants exclusive rights to the licensee; the track is immediately removed from sale to other customers. Transfer of master recording and publishing shares can be negotiated separately for additional fees. Custom pricing based on track popularity, intended use, and exclusivity duration. Contact us directly for exclusive licensing quotes.

3. Permitted Modifications

You may edit the track for length, create loops, add fades, apply EQ and compression, mix with voiceover and sound effects, and create short or long versions suitable for your project. You may NOT rewrite melodies or harmonies, claim authorship of the composition, share individual stems or multitracks with third parties, or use the audio to train AI models or create AI-generated derivatives.

4. Prohibited Uses

Strictly prohibited: Reselling or redistributing the track "as is" or as part of a music library; uploading to streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) under the Licensee's name; transferring the license to parties outside your production chain without written consent; using for political campaigns without explicit written permission; any use that violates applicable laws or platform terms of service.

5. Attribution

Credit is not legally required but greatly appreciated. Suggested format: "Music by [Composer Name], [website URL]" in your video description, credits, or about section.

6. Performance Rights (PRO)

If your project requires cue sheets (TV, radio, cinema), please provide them with the following information: Composer [Name], PRO [Your PRO affiliation], Publisher [if applicable]. This does not affect or change your license fee; performance royalties are handled separately through PRO systems.

7. Content ID & YouTube Claims

Our tracks may be registered in Content ID systems for copyright protection. If you receive a claim on YouTube or other platforms, email us your order number and video link. We'll whitelist your content within 24-48 hours. This is a normal part of protecting our catalog and doesn't indicate any problem with your license.

8. Territory, Term & Media

Default terms: Worldwide territory, perpetual duration, unlimited copies within the scope of your declared project. Broadcast and Exclusive licenses specify exact parameters including territory, duration, media channels, and reach limitations as agreed in writing.

9. Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are final and non-refundable after file delivery. Exchanges may be considered within 7 days of purchase for mistaken orders, provided the content has not been released publicly or used in production. Contact us immediately if you believe you've purchased the wrong license type.

10. Pricing & Taxes

Prices are displayed on individual track pages and invoices. Applicable taxes, VAT, and payment processor fees are added at checkout based on your location. Exclusive licenses are custom-quoted based on your specific needs and negotiation.

11. Rights Transfer & Sub-Licensing

License transfer to third parties is not permitted without written consent from the Rightsholder. Exception: Transfer within a single production chain (agency → production company → client) is allowed, provided all parties honor the license terms and limitations.

12. Warranties & Liability

The Rightsholder warrants ownership of rights to the master recording and composition, or valid licenses from third-party contributors. The Rightsholder's total liability is limited to the license fee paid. For large commercial projects, additional insurance and indemnification can be negotiated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the music in client projects?

Yes! You can use licensed music in projects for your clients, provided the license type matches the project scope. The license stays with the specific project, not with you or your client individually.

What happens if my video goes viral?

If your video exceeds the view limit of your license (e.g., 1M for Standard), contact us. We'll work with you to upgrade your license retroactively at a fair price. We understand viral success isn't always planned!

Do I need a new license for each video?

Yes, each separate project/video requires its own license. However, using the same track across multiple videos in a series may qualify for bundle discounts—contact us to discuss.

Can I edit the music myself?

Absolutely! You can trim, loop, fade, EQ, compress, and mix the track with other audio elements. You cannot rewrite the melody or composition, or claim it as your own work.

How long does whitelisting take?

YouTube Content ID whitelisting typically takes 24-48 hours after you send us your video link and order number. We process requests during business days.
